JSC “Vostochny Port” 2016 Year Results

12 January, 2017, Nakhodka. Russian largest coal stevedore JSC “Vostochny Port”, a member of the port coal holding “Managing Port Company Ltd.”, has summarized its 2016 year results. “Vostochny Port” transshipped 23.5 million tons of coal and set up a national record in coal transshipment annual rates. The cargo turnover of the Company increased by 3.4% (778 thousand tons) as compared with 2015.

During the first 11 months of the year, 538 bulkers have been loaded at the berths of JSC “Vostochny Port”. Over 21.6 million tons of the Russian coal products have been exported in their holds.

November 21st, 2016. Nakhodka. New equipment was shipped from the Port of Houston (USA), for the third stage of the Coal Terminal under construction at JSC “Vostochny Port”, a member of the Russian Port Holding Company “Managing Port Company, LLC”.

THE INSTALLATION OF STACKERS AND RECLAIMERS HAS BEEN COMPLETED

The specialized handing equipment has been installed at the 3rd stage of the Coal Handling Complex of JSC “Vostochny Port” for the trans-shipment of the coal product within the coal stockpiling warehouse area. In 2017, two stackers and four reclaimers with a production capacity of 3500 thousand tons per hour will start operating along with the specialized Coal handling complex.
