JSC “Vostochny Port”, the largest coal stevedore in Russia and a part of the port coal holding “Managing Port Company, LLC”, announced the results of the cargo handling during the two winter months of 2017. The company processed 3.5 million tons of coal products (an increase of 10%) for this period of time.
The new holders of the rolling cup of the “Managing Port Company” were congratulated in a solemn ceremony at the Cultural Center in Vrangel.

The last month of the winter season in JSC “Vostochny Port” got started with the annual mass participation event among ice fishing enthusiasts. The company's employees and their families, dressed warmly and with fishing tackle in hand, gathered in Kozmino bay.
Technology to further protect the cars filled with coal from the wind has been developed by the experts of “Managing Port Company, LLC” and JSC “Vostochny Port”. The wind shelter helps maintain the preheated coal temperature in the winter season and prevents the coal from blowing out of the cars by the strong seasonal winds in Primorye. From the moment of the system commissioning in January, the daily average unloading rate of the coal terminal increased by 14%.

Russian largest coal stevedore JSC “Vostochny Port”, a member of the port coal holding “Managing Port Company Ltd.”, has summarized its 2016 year results. “Vostochny Port” transshipped 23.5 million tons of coal and set up a national record in coal transshipment annual rates. The cargo turnover of the Company increased by 3.4% (778 thousand tons) as compared with 2015.
For the first time in the Russian Federation, 23 million tons of coal products have been handled and shipped within a calendar year by one stevedoring company. The record was achieved by JSC “Vostochny Port” production complexes.
JSC “Vostochny Port” performs gentle unloading operations. For 11 months of 2016, the number of handled wagons increased almost by 4.5 thousand up to 297,788.
JSC ‘Vostochny Port”, which is a member of the Russian largest port coal holding “Managing Port Company Ltd.”, has become a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok with an investment project for the Coal Handling Complex Phase 3 construction in Nakhodka Municipality.
